Tim continued to serve his fellow man despite his personal battle for his life.
On July 16, 1999 at 12:15 hours, Detective Sergeant Timothy R. Biggs answered his final call...
His call to come home.
The Porter Police Department is made up of nine sworn officers and civilian employees, all dedicated to providing the highest quality law enforcement to the people of our community. Our community retains a small town feel, while providing an environment for business growth and development. It is both challenging and rewarding to serve the people of Porter. Our department is guided through our core values of Integrity, Fairness, and Service. We are innovative and aggressive in our approach to law enforcement.
