This system, combined with other emergency alert methods, is designed to get emergency messages to you, the public, quickly, effectively, and efficiently. Our emergency notification system gives those in charge of public safety at the Town of Porter the ability to contact and alert the public in the event of an emergency.
Please note that this does not preclude you from calling 911 in the event of an emergency; it simply provides the ability for us to disseminate critical information if and when the need arises.
